Innovation Labs
Student teams spend four to eight weeks on a problem your company brings. Your engineer holds one office hour a week.
In a company account, you describe the problem and your dates, and the chapter's officers accept or ask questions; you follow it there.

A problem your team wants explored, data or a sandbox the students may use, and an engineer for one office hour a week. The default prize pool is $5,000, given to the chapter through the Foundation.
Innovation Labs playbook
Every team's final submission and a recap within 30 days. Each team's code stays in the event's private repositories.
We don't ask students to sign NDAs for these projects. A required signature lowers participation, and if a project needs one because of what's at stake in the output, a student event is probably the wrong place for it.
A gift never buys access to students.
How a Lab runs

We scope the problem with you before any student sees your brief. We don't ask students to sign NDAs for these projects.

Showcase

Step 1 of 5
The officers send the link. It opens without an account or a password.
A brief, a dataset or slides, as a file or a link.
Mentors, judges or engineers. The officers see this roster.
The row flips to “Offered · pending” until the officers accept.
Teams, checkpoints and materials land on the same page.
