How the money works

Every dollar given through this platform is received by ALL Applied AI Network Foundation, a 501(c)(3), and restricted by your preference. This page is the plain-language account of what happens to it — and the paperwork that backs it up.

Where Your Money Goes

Three ways to give, each with a specific promise.

Direct giftYour gift goes to the chapter or event you choose. Tax-deductible; receipt immediately.
Event budgetYou fund an event's budget. The chapter spends it on a Foundation-issued card restricted to that event — and whatever's unspent comes back to you after the event settles.
GoodsDonate hardware, food, or prizes. We handle the logistics and the receipt at fair value.
The variance covenant

Funds restricted to a chapter are spent only for that chapter's purposes. If a chapter dissolves, its balance transfers to the nearest active chapter or the network fund, and donors are notified.

The $0 fee, honestly. ALL AI Network takes nothing from gifts — 100% of what you give reaches the chapter you chose. The specific things that make restricted giving to student groups possible at all — tax receipts issued and archived, settlement of every event account, general liability insurance over every chapter, and the software that runs the cards, the ledgers, and this site — are paid for by company network membership, the one thing ALL AI Network charges for. The only deduction you will ever see is card processing (about 3%), charged by the payment processor, not by us.

100% of your gift reaches the chapter — ALL AI Network takes $0; card processing is charged by the payment processor. Gifts are subject to the Foundation's variance power — if this event is overfunded or cancelled, funds support the chapter or the network.

Fiscal Sponsorship in Plain English

Chapters are sponsored projects of the Foundation. They are student communities, not separate corporations — the Foundation is the legal entity behind each one.

That means the Foundation is the contracting party for vendors: venues, caterers, and suppliers sign with the Foundation, never with a student. The Foundation carries general liability insurance over chapter activity. And when you give, your receipt comes from the Foundation — one EIN, one audit trail, regardless of which chapter or event you supported.
