We're a chapter of the ALL Applied AI Network — a 501(c)(3) network of university AI clubs. Our members don't just study AI, they ship it: speaker nights with working engineers, semester-long Innovation Labs where student teams build for a partner company, and hackathons that end with running software.

Innovation Labs Spring 2026, hosted by MAIC in collaboration with Persistent Systems and Databricks, challenged students from MSOE and UWM to build AI-powered solutions across financial services and healthcare. Teams competed for $10,000 in prizes, with PHIG taking first place for their clinical coding solution.
Innovation Labs Fall 2025, hosted by MAIC in collaboration with Xorbix Technologies and Databricks, brought together 180+ students from MSOE, Rose-Hulman, Pasadena City College, UWM, and Marquette to build AI-powered solutions for real industry challenges. Qual-V took first place for their product defect detection work using ML evaluations and Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback.
Innovation Labs 2024, hosted by AI-Club in collaboration with Brady Corporation, is a dynamic program that challenges students to solve real-world industry problems using AI. This hands-on experience equips participants with technical, project management, and communication skills, preparing them for impactful careers.
HacksGiving 2024, a three-day hackathon hosted by the MSOE AI-Club in collaboration with local non-profit Discovery World.
